I love taking photographs of couples. It’s so much fun! I get to hang out with two people who love and adore each other, get to know them and have a laugh together. Alex and Binks were no exception. As soon as I got my camera out they were ready for cuddles, making each other laugh and smile, and generally having a bloody good time together.

We met at their apartment and wandered from there towards the Riverside Walk. We stopped several times along the way to take some pictures. I directed them with how I’d like them to stand or which direction they should face, but allowed them to chat, play games and interact with each other. This created some really natural looking shots without it looking too forced. This also allowed me to capture the little moments between shots, like a forehead kiss or small gesture between the two. This makes it super easy and comfortable for couples who might not be used to having their picture taken. It’s a far more relaxing and fun experience.
